LATTE LIBERALS DISCOVER CONSEQUENCES — AND THEY TASTE BITTER
America First is popular. The faculty lounge is taking it personally. Pass the sugar, we are fine.

There is a particular face the professional left makes when a policy they called impossible starts working. It is the face of a customer who ordered almond milk, got a real cappuccino, and is trying to decide whether to send it back in front of the whole lunch counter.
They told you tariffs were a tax on the poor. They told you deportations were logistically hopeless. They told you energy dominance was a fossil. They told you parents were the problem at school board meetings. Then the country voted, the orders signed, and the data refused to cooperate with the script.
So the new script is feelings. The President is 'exhausting.' The voters are 'low-information.' The wins are 'chaotic.' Chaos, in this dialect, means a factory hiring and a cartel having a worse month. We should all be so chaotic.
Decaf Tears recommends a simple experiment. Go to a diner in a county that went the President's way and ask if they miss the old menu. Take notes. Bring cash. Tip well. You will learn more than you will on a panel that still thinks the heartland is a flyover punchline.
Consequences are not cruelty. They are the bill. America is allowed to stop picking up other people's. If that is bitter, add cream. The rest of us have been drinking it black for years.
