DALLAS IS PERCOLATING: TRUMP HEADLINES THE FIRST GOP MIDTERM CONVENTION
JD Vance night one. The President night two. One hundred and nine speakers, and the machine is humming for September.

The Republican National Committee just did something the consultants said was too old-fashioned: they scheduled a real midterm convention. September 9 and 10 in Dallas. One hundred and nine speakers. Tax relief, border security, school choice, and the stories of people who actually vote. Vice President JD Vance headlines night one. President Trump delivers the keynote on night two.
RNC Chairman Joe Gruters called it a gathering to unite the party and drive turnout. The critics, right on schedule, complained that there is too much Trump on the marquee. Folks, that is like walking into a steakhouse and complaining there is too much steak. The man won. The coalition is his. The midterms are a referendum on whether the country wants another round of the old menu.
Dallas in September is going to feel like a percolator on a full burner. The heartland will show up in boots. The donors will show up in linen. The cameras will show up to hunt for a gaffe and accidentally broadcast a packed hall. Let them.
Hot Covfefe will be there in spirit, mug in hand. If you cannot make it, keep this page bookmarked. We will roast it as it happens, extra shot, no foam.
