BORDER BLEND: THE SOUTHERN POUR IS FINALLY UNDER CONTROL

Remember when the experts said you could not do it? You could not reverse the catch-and-release carnival. You could not make the cartels feel it. You could not even say 'illegal' without a seminar. Then a President said it anyway, and the numbers showed up like a good waiter.

July: nearly 50,000 ICE arrests, up 15 percent from June and 70 percent from February. Around Washington: 1,328 arrests in Virginia and Maryland in two weeks, including about 400 with criminal convictions — the kind the last administration filed under 'complex root causes.' Fentanyl deaths dropped 22 percent in a year. That is policy with a body count going in the right direction. Every one of those numbers is a family that did not have to pick out a church. If that does not move you, you are not serious. You are a panel.

The open-border crowd will call this cruelty because they cannot call it a failure anymore. Cruelty is a morgue full of 24-year-olds. Cruelty is a town that cannot keep a hospital or a school because the system was treated like a suggestion. The Southern pour is darker now. It is supposed to be. That is how you know it is coffee and not dishwater.
